How to Pre-Sell Affiliate Products - Part 1

One way of pre-selling affiliate products is to create an honest review of the product on it’s own webpage, and then link to the review from:
- selected articles on your site
- through an ad which appears on each page
- through a “product review” menu link

If you have built a niche website and you are targeting only one product, using an ad at the top of each page can be quite effective. You could add an image of the product and then add a few lines of text to arouse your reader’s curiosity.

For example you could add a benefit laden bullet point or two and then ask a question similar to this: “Does this product really fullfill these promises? To find out, read this honest [product name] review.”

Make ‘[product name] review’ a hyperlink to your product review page and replace [product name] with the name of the product you are reviewing.

Your review must be an honest review, which means you must own the product and have used it. Make notes of your experience and use these as the basis of your review. Never give a product you are using a full 10 out of 10 as there is always something you won’t like. Add this to you review.

If you have been successful using the product, add the specific results to your review. For example, if you had used a product on list building and it resulted in an increase of 14 subscribers per day, say that in your review.

Your results from using the product don’t have to be dramatic. for example, if you read an ebook on eating healthy food, and you found by following the advice you had more “get up and go” each morning when you woke up, say that. It’s still a positive endorsement of the product…

Pointing out the good and bad points of a product and explaining your results will make people who read your review appreciate your honesty, and they will be more likely to buy the product through your affiliate link (which you must add at the end of your review).
